Kenya Flag
The flag of Kenya was adopted on December 12, 1963. The flag is based on that of Kenya African National Union. The colors symbolize black majority, red for the struggle for freedom and green for natural wealth; the white fimbriation was added later and symbolizes peace. The traditional Maasai shield and two spears symbolize the defense of all the things mentioned above. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4"x6" size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Also available below is a Waterproof Vinyl Decal (suitable for outdoor use). Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
