Flag Materials
We carefully control the quality of the fabrics used in the production of our flags. From fiber selection to weaving to final finishing, each step is carefully executed. Flags must be colorfast to sun and rain, lightweight, and have high tensile strength. To achieve these results, one must design and construct the fabric to exacting specifications. U.S. Flag Description
Our United States flags, 2'x3' up to 12'x18', have embroidered stars and sewn stripes. Our U.S. flags 15'x25' and larger have applique (sewn) stars and stripes.
Our U.S. flags up to 6'x10' have brass grommets, while 8'x12' and larger flags have a heavy-duty rope & thimble design for added strength and support. embroidered stars heavy-duty stitching brass grommets rope & thimble for large flags.
Nylon
This heavyweight DuPont SolarMax™ nylon is the most popular and versatile flag fabric available. Nylon's combination of strength and brilliant display, along with its quick drying ability, make it suitable for a wide range of applications. Great in rainy areas, its light weight and close weave enable it to fly in the slightest of breeze, giving the fullest visual effect. Nearly every flag we sell is available in nylon material.

Polyester 2
This material represents new and improved flag fabric technology. Made of 100% spun polyester, its 2x2-ply construction combines durability, strength and flyability with a rich feel and look. These flags are ideal for extreme weather conditions without the excess weight. These are the longest lasting flags on the market today.

Polyester
This material is a filament, warp knit polyester, producing a flag of good durability and color retention. This polyester material has an open weave that allows the flag to fly in very light breezes. Available for most of our sports flags.
Cotton
Cotton is a traditional and great looking flag material. This natural fiber bunting is made of heavyweight 2x2-ply mercerized cotton. It combines extremely bright, long lasting colors, good wearing quality, and excellent overall appearance. Look for cotton flags in our historical section or in our U.S. flags. If you are in need of a classic look for your flag, this is the best choice.
Rayon
A silk-like polyester material mainly used on our stick/desktop flags.
