The Oregon state flag is navy blue with all lettering and symbols in gold which are Oregon state colors. The flag's face displays part of the state's seal and the words: "State of Oregon, 1859," the year it became part of the Union. The parade, or dress flag often features gold fringe. The symbols on the shield include the mountains, forests, and elk of Oregon. A covered wagon, ox team, the Pacific Ocean with a setting sun, and departing British man-of-war ship symbolizing the departure of British influence and the arrival of an American merchant ship are also shown on the flag. 33 stars support the shied, signifying that Oregon was the 33rd state to join the United States. The reverse side of the Oregon state flag shows the state's official animal, the beaver.
Our Oregon state flags are meant to capture the state's unique beauty in high-quality displays. Each flag features our beautiful brass grommets. Sizes range from 4 inches by 6 inches upward to 12 feet by 18 feet. Our indoor and parade flags come mounted with a 10-inch staff spear top and gold fringe around the edges. Our Oregon state flags are 2 feet x 3 feet and larger in nylon and are double-sided, while the smaller, polyester flags are not. For the best outdoor display of your beautiful Oregon state flag, we recommend nylon and polyester 2. Polyester 2 has been thoroughly tested to last and remain strong in extreme winds and weather. For on-the-go flags, our vinyl decals can be used indoors and outdoors, and our embroidered iron-ons are sure to add a beautiful touch to accessories!
