Djibouti Flag
The national flag of Djibouti features two equal horizontal bands of blue (top) and green with a white triangle based on the hoist side bearing a red five-pointed star in the centre. The colors used symbolize the earth (green), the sea and sky (blue) and peace (white), with the red star representing unity. It was first hoisted on the day of the independence of Djibouti, June 27, 1977. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4"x6" size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
