Uganda Flag

The flag of Uganda was adopted in 1962.Allegedly, the three colors are representative of African peoples (black), Africa's sunshine (yellow), and red symbolizing African brotherhood.The bird is fabled for its gentle nature and was also the military badge of Ugandese soldiers during British rule. Our international flags are accurately reproduced to exact specifications. The flag has 2 brass grommets on the left edge for hanging. The 4"x6" size is mounted to a staff with a spear top. Polyester flags are imported and not recommended for prolonged outdoor use. For outdoor use, we recommend our nylon flags. Also available below is an indoor/ceremonial version of the flag with a pole sleeve and gold fringe.
